Actually I have read Bicentennial Man - I read it years ago, then I remember seeing the movie come out with Robin Williams and being profoundly dissatisfied with it. To me, the book was an interesting exploration about the idea of humanity: the movie seemed me to be a whole lot of, "Aw, robots have feelings too!"
